Clint Jason Briggs, son of Richard “Dick” and Colleen (Keegan) Briggs, was born on January 21, 1967, in Sioux Falls, SD. He grew up in Sioux Falls and received his education, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1985. After high school, Jason attended college at Mankato State, MN. He then spent some brief time in Arizona before attending college at the University of South Dakota. He returned to Sioux Falls and began working with Sears Payment Systems. After transferring to Utah, Jason returned to Sioux Falls and started working with JD Byrider in the management and finance departments.

Jason then married Susan Sellner and together they had his biggest love of all, his daughter, Lily Grace Briggs.

After working in Des Moines, IA, and North Carolina, Jason came back to Sioux Falls and worked at E.C.I. as a sub-contractor for Midcontinent Communications and then Qwest. After his step-mother passed away, Jason caringly moved in with his father.

Jason will be missed for his calm, comforting manner and his laughter. He was never known to say a bad word about anyone, and enjoyed spending time playing with his nieces and nephews. Jason liked watching sports of all types and reading. His greatest passion in life was his daughter, and he cherished every moment they spent together.

Grateful for having shared his life are his daughter, Lily Grace Briggs, Sioux Falls, SD; father, Richard "Dick" Briggs, Sioux Falls, SD; his mother, Colleen Briggs, Sioux Falls, SD; siblings, Erin Hayes, Sioux Falls, SD, Lisa Pichetti and her husband Scott, Duluth, MN, Judy Land and her husband Bill, Bend, OR; Jenay Silvis and her husband Marlon, Hartford, SD, Jill Eutzy and special friend Kevin Gormley, Sioux Falls, SD; Jim Teal and his wife Stephanie, Minneapolis, MN; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Jason was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Visitation will begin at 8am Monday January 2, 2006, with the family present from 3 to 5pm at the Miller West Funeral Chapel, 41st Street and Valley View Road. A funeral service will be held at 11am Tuesday January 3, 2006, at the Miller West Chapel.
