Richard "Dick" Thomas age 65, died Saturday March 6, 2010 at his home of natural causes. Private family services will be held. Dick was born August 30, 1944 in Sioux Falls. He grew up and received his education here. He worked at Sanford Medical center for many years as well as for Pepsi Cola. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and raising pigeons and rabbits. Survivors include his children; Todd and Jesse, of Calloway, MN, Howard, of Sioux Falls, Shannon Gayton, Detroit Lakes, MN, Mary Thomas, Sioux Falls, grandchildren; Lacey Lee, Corey Thomas, Cody Casey, Keyah Casey, and Sandy Thomas, and a sister, LaVonne Kalk, Irene, SD. His parents, an infant daughter Della Mae and brothers Vernon and Myron preceded him in death.
