Abiy Fagiso sadly passed away on the morning of Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Born in Ethiopia, Abiy was the beloved child of Fagiso Gurmamo and Ayelech Lentalo. Abiy Fagiso was married to Tadelech Forsido, and together, they built a life in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Abiy worked diligently in general production and as a mule driver for Smithfield Foods, Inc., contributing significantly to the community.

Abiy will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends, and the community.
