Life brought many hardships following the passing of mother Candra Calhoon in 2018. This was a sudden and heartbreaking loss that deeply affected Alex Calhoon. Alex Calhoon had begun building a future and taking meaningful steps ahead, showing resilience through unimaginable pain.

Music was always a bright spot. Alex Calhoon especially loved the song All Star by Smash Mouth. Alex was often found playing it loud without hesitation, and jokingly declaring, "Hey now, you're an all-star." That playful spirit, the laughter, and that spark of personality are memories that will live on in the hearts of family and friends.

Alex Calhoon is survived by siblings, Aizack Calhoon, Andrew Calhoon, and Ainsley Calhoon; father Adam Calhoon; and nephew Thomas Calhoon-Loecker, along with extended family members and friends who will forever cherish the time shared.
