Alfred Green, 73, of Sioux Falls, Sd passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024 in Sioux Falls, SD.

Family present Visitation will be from 3:00 -8:00 pm Thursday, October 10 at Calvary Episcopal Cathedral Basement Reception Hall.  There will be a service at 5:00 pm Thursday.

Burial will be at 2:00 pm Friday, October 11 at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Sioux Falls, SD.

Smokey was born in White Clay OK, the son of Charles Green and Madeline Laravie.

Smokey entered into the US Marines on March 13, 1974.  He served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged March 12, 1976.

Smokey has 1 son American Horse and has many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Smokey especially loved all his family and friends, and one of Smokey favorite memories and will tell a lot is when Smokey carried AlGreg up a hill on his back so his grandson could experience what the other kids experience and see. Smokey on every Halloween would take AlGreg Trick or Treating and they both hit the ground at one time. There is nothing he would not do for his family.

Preceding in death his father Charles, his Mother Madeline, his little brother Valentino, and his sister Beverly.
