Andrea Marie Andera, 56 of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away from a sudden illness on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the Sanford Medical Center.
Visitation with the family present will be from 5 to 7 pm on Monday, June 22, 2026, at the Miller Southside Chapel, 7400 South Minnesota Avenue. A Celebration of Andrea's Life will take place from 4 to 7 pm on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at The District, 4521 West Empire Place. The service will be live-streamed at https://moltenaudio.com/v/andrea/
Andrea Marie Becht, daughter of Bernard and Marlene (Rosenthal) Becht, was born on April 30, 1970, in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended Millard public schools and graduated from Millard North High School. She attended college and received her associates degree before moving to Council Bluffs, IA, and eventually Sioux Falls, SD. Andrea worked with Vision Eyecare and most recently with Marchon USA.
Andrea was united in marriage with Dave Andera on December 30, 2021.
Loved by many, Andrea enjoyed hunting, fishing, and travelling with Dave. She loved the ocean, boating, fishing, dancing, and taking in football games and concerts. Andrea enjoyed life to its fullest!
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Dave and black lab Sadie, Sioux Falls, SD; daughter Olivia Lenhard, Omaha, NE; son Brandon (Savannah) Handy, Sioux Falls, SD; sister Deborah Becht, Omaha, NE; seven grandchildren, Ophelia, Isabelle, Ember, Lilly, Zoey, Madi, Weston; many nieces, nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Andrea was preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Marlene (Rosenthal) Becht; and a brother Stephen Becht.
In lieu of flowers and gifts the family requests that memorials be made to the Andrea Andera Memorial Fund to be distributed by Dave to the grandchildren, Ophelia, Isabelle, and Ember.
