Annette Yvonne Smith, 83, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Hawarden Regional Healthcare. Visitation with family present will be from 5:00 - 6:00 PM on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Miller Funeral Home—Westside Chapel (6200 W. 41st St. Sioux Falls, SD) with a prayer service to follow at 6:00 PM. A private family burial will be held at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, IA.

Toni was born on August 5, 1941, to Lyle and Eva (Harris) Lammert in Sioux City, IA. She graduated from South Sioux City High School in 1959. She worked at various jobs in the Siouxland area including the Dakota County Welfare Office, Dakota County Sheriff's Department, Ron Rapp Insurance, and Payless Cashways.

Toni enjoyed crafting, taking her grandchildren fishing, and going to the casino with her friends. She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be lovingly remembered by her family.

Toni was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Eva; infant sister, Lois; and infant great-grandchildren, Nevaeh and Magnolia Doohen.

Toni's family would like to thank the staff at Alcester Care and Rehab for the
love, kindness and wonderful care given to her over the past two years.
