Arlene J. (Gerlach) Paulsen, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. A celebration of life will occur at a later date.

Arlene is survived by her daughters, Tammy (Alan) Berg of Gordon, WI, and Kymberly Gassman of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Chad (Brooke) Gascoigne and Christi Harris, and great-grandchildren, Taylen, Tanner (Kyla), Camden, Blake, Alissa, and Alexander; her great-great-grandchild, Braxten, and one more on the way; and her sister, Shirley (Jim) Bertsch of Grain Valley, MO.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Minnie Gerlach; her son-in-law, Steven Gassman; and her brothers, Stan Gerlach and infant brother, Darwin Gerlach.
