Bob
Nash
Dec 6, 1968 — Oct 6, 2024
Sioux Falls
Robert (Bob) Nash was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in 1968 to Gene and Marie Nash. He was raised in the famous Nash house on Phillips Ave.
Bob spent most of his younger years traveling around the country, working various jobs. He finally settled at Alcom, LLC in Sioux Falls, where he loved his job and his work family. He also loved racing and raced for many years at local tracks.
Bob's life was a series of adventures, big and small. He could turn even the most mundane tasks into unforgettable experiences. His recent journey to Africa in January was a testament to his adventurous spirit.
Bob had an infectious smile and a loving, carefree attitude, so people loved to be around him. He loved dogs and his most recent fat boy cat, Dexter. Family and friends were very important to Bob; he always made time to be with them. If you were an old or new friend, you became a friend for life. Bob truly enjoyed life—his motto was "You Only Live Once, so Live it Free."
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Marie Nash. He is survived by his siblings, Debra Nash, Tim (Elaine) Nash, Rebecca (Kelly) Brown, and Sam (Kathy) Nash; nephews Hunter Brown, Colton Brown, Nick Nash, and Jon Nash; and a host of extended family and friends. He is also survived by WLTR, his beloved truck, and Dexter the cat.
