Brad grew up in Waverly, Iowa, and attended Waverly-Shell Rock High School until his sophomore year before graduating from Edison High School in Minneapolis. After graduation, he enrolled at the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, where he earned a degree in Psychology with a minor in Biblical Studies. His job was something he took pride in and truly valued.

Shortly after 2018, Brad moved to Sioux Falls, SD. Not long after his relocation, he met the love of his life, Meghan Taylor, through mutual friends. They married on May 6, 2023, in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Brad was a vibrant young man with many friends, known for his kindness and caring nature. He was generous, loyal, and charismatic, making him someone everyone loved to be around. He had a positive impact on many people and made friends wherever he went.

An avid hunter, Brad was especially proud of the buck he harvested last fall with his bow. In addition to hunting, he had a passion for music and enjoyed fishing, working out, hiking, golfing, traveling, and anything related to the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by all.

Grateful to have shared his life are his wife, Meghan Anfinson; mother, Cindy Anfinson; siblings, Ariane (Garen) Carpenter and Shawn (Erin) Anfinson; parents-in-law, Paul "Bud" (Kathy) Taylor; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family, and friends.
