Bruce Emery Hunsaker, "Egor," passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in Sioux Falls, SD. Bruce was born November 1, 1952, in Harrisburg, SD, to Herbert and Ruby "Duncan" Hunsaker.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the Red Eye Bar & Casino, 5013 N. Cliff Ave, Sioux Falls, SD. We welcome family and friends to attend and share stories throughout his life. A light lunch will be provided

The family moved to Brandon, SD, for a short period and then to Sioux Falls, SD, where Bruce resided until his death.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1/22/70 to 11/25/70 and was released with a general discharge. Following his discharge, he moved back to Sioux Falls, SD. He was an excellent carpenter and worked for various companies throughout his life. Bruce was a brilliant, unique individual who lived his life on his own terms, with no exception. You could count on him for his uproarious laughter and, on the flip side, very serious conversations.

Grateful to have shared his life is a very long list of people who cannot all be listed. Family members, Daughter, Heather Rose Almond – SF, Brothers, Greg Hunsaker "Gator", Herb Hunsaker Jr, "Spike" and Forrest "Tress" Hunsaker and wife Bridget Hunsaker - SF, Sister, Darcy Hunsaker Emme, husband Tim Emme – Spearfish SD. Tanna Brummett and Mandee Puente were so glad to have shared his life as his special daughters. He was blessed with two grandchildren, Daniel Feldman and Carol Bonham, Fiancée – SF, Ethan Stevens, and his wife, Jaileen Stevens. To his delight, Ethan and Jaileen blessed him with a great-granddaughter named Emery Lee Rose Stevens (after her great-great Grandfather Hunsaker).

He was preceded in death by his Father, Herb Hunsaker, Mother, Ruby Duncan Hunsaker, Brother, Greg Hunsaker "Gator", Grandmother Lucy Duncan, Grandfather, Jasper Duncan, Grandmother, Anna Hunsaker, Grandfather, Emery Hunsaker.
