Bruce Ramm, Sioux Falls, SD, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Avera McKennan Hospital. He was 67.

Bruce was born to Eugene and Kathleen Ramm on August 15, 1957, at Madison Community Hospital. He attended St. Thomas School from first through sixth grade, Madison Junior High School for seventh and eighth grade, and Madison High School for grades nine through twelve. Bruce enjoyed shop class, played basketball, as well as on the Legion Baseball Team, and ran on the cross-country team.

Bruce married Debora Henrichs on February 21, 1976, at Winfred United Church of Christ. Bruce and Deb began their lives together living in Winfred, and shortly after moved to Madison, South Dakota. There, Bruce worked at F&M, where he repaired tractor tires. Bruce also worked at Kieth's South Side Service Station in Madison.

In 1986 Bruce began his career at John Morrel Packing House, where he worked his way up from docks to the position of Pork Operations Manager. Deb and their kids joined Bruce in Sioux Falls in 1987. Bruce was still working with Smithfield at the time of his passing.

Bruce loved attending Prairie Village Jamboree in Madison, South Dakota, which had been a family tradition since he was a small boy. Bruce also loved softball, motorcycles, throwing darts, spending time at their family's lake cabin in Madison, and spending time on his deck tipping back a few cold ones.

Bruce's passions were his family - including his wife, children, grandchildren, and most recent great-grandchild. Those happy to have shared Bruce's life with him were his wife, Debora Ramm; children, Brandy (Aaron), Justin, and Rachel (Erik); and grandchildren, Faith, Autumn, Presley, Gracelynn, Bianca, Brooklynn, Jadenn, Lillian, and Carter; great-grandson, Leo; his mother, Kathleen; brothers, Rodney (Shanda), Gerald (Shelly), Dave (Carol), and Francis (Beth); his sisters-in-law, Shari (Roger), Lynda (Tom) and Gwendolyn Denny); and brother-in-law, David (Jean).

Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Ramm; brothers, Joe and Ed Ramm; sister-in-law, Kim Ramm; and a nephew, John Ramm.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Winfred Community Church, 700 Central Ave, Winfred SD. The family invites you to join them for food and refreshments after the service.
