In 1953, he was united in marriage to Karen Espe. He worked with his father in-law, Lyle Espe in establishing Mailway Printers.

In 1971, he joined Merrill Lynch in Minneapolis and returned to Sioux Falls in 1973. Bud remained involved in the financial industry until his death.

On October 12, 1974, he was united in marriage to Nan Witt in Sioux Falls.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Nan; a daughter, Sonna and her husband, Tom Sexauer; a son, Gregg and his wife, Jenny; five grandchildren, Robbi LeGrant, Rebecca King, Jordan Sexauer, Kate Olson, and Kelly Townsend; three great grandchildren; a sister in-law, Virginia Olson; a brother in-law, Jim McNie; and a very special group of friends.

His parents; a brother, Warren; and his close aunt, Viona Corbett; preceded him in death.

Bud's family thanks you for your support and presence today. An invitation is extended to join them at the Theo's, 601 W. 33rd St., for refreshments and fellowship following the memorial service.
