Cathy Toussaint, 49, of Parker, SD passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Ava's House after a courageous battle with declining health.

There will be a Celebration of her Life at the family Acreage which will be announced in next couple weeks.

Cathy Lynn Paulson, daughter of Donald and Linda (Grocott) Paulson, was born May 6, 1976, in Sioux Falls, SD.  She grew up in Sioux Falls and the family moved around as jobs required in the area.  She had earned her GED and had worked at few convenience stores, Rich Brothers for several summers, and had been working filling medical supply boxes.

She really enjoyed being a homemaker for her children and family.  She had several soap operas she enjoyed, Law and Order, Gameshows like the Price Is Right, and playing Candy Crush on her phone.

She really enjoyed the family time with bonfires in the summer.  She felt very special getting her nails painted.

Grateful for having shared her life are her companion, David Husman, Parker, SD; her three children, Blue Lynn Toussanit (Micah Ellis), Sioux Falls, SD, Derrick Husman (Shulamith Navarro), Sioux Falls, SD, Tyler Husman, Parker, SD;  a sister, Cheryl Wentzel (Lee), Sioux Falls, SD; and a brother, Kirk Paulson (Sue) and two children, Hanna & Bennett; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant daughter, Kayla.
