Obituary

Chad M. Pollman, Sioux Falls, SD, died June 15, 2012, in Sioux Falls, following health complications. He was 40.

Chad's life can't be summed up in a couple of paragraphs. He lived, loved, and played harder than just about anyone. He was larger than life in many ways, but the biggest thing about Chad was his heart. His natural ability to make you laugh and wonder what would come out of his mouth next was magnetic. Once you met him you never forgot it; and he didn't forget you.

Chad was involved in many activities and hobbies over his lifetime and formed special relationships with people in all of them. Chad owned several high powered cars and motorcycles over the years. He loved drag racing no matter where it went down, and that led to him being on a first name basis with the SFPD. Even the police couldn't keep a straight face around Chad. He was also deeply involved in pool leagues, dart leagues, and liked playing cards. Chad was a big fan of the NFL, NBA, MMA, boxing, and professional pool.

The things that Chad really cherished though, was spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his daughter, Sidney; his father, Mike; his mother, Barb; his sisters, Jennifer and Jodi; nieces and nephews; and last, but most certainly not least, a world of friends.

Rev. Jesse Moore will conduct memorial services 6:00 Wednesday evening at Miller Funeral Home, downtown location, 507 S. Main Avenue. Visitation begins at 1:00 Wednesday afternoon.
