Daniel Cook, 61, of Sioux Falls, SD passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home-Downtown, 507 S. Main Ave., Sioux Falls, SD.

Daniel Paul Cook, son of John and Sharon (Edmunds) Cook, on April 20, 1960 in Sioux Falls, SD.  He grew up in Sioux Falls where he graduated from Washington High School in 1979.

Daniel entered the United States Marines where he served until his honorable discharge.  He returned to Sioux Falls and began working as a roofer and then worked construction where he has worked since.

He was a hard worker and enjoyed a honest days work for an honest days pay.  He has been together with Lena Thunder since 2010 and he enjoyed the family time together.  They liked watching TV and doing activities together.

Grateful for having shared his life are his special lady, Lena Thunder, and her children, Memoree, Caroline, Feliciti Thunder, Sioux Falls, SD; a son, Bryan Cook, Sioux Falls, SD; his siblings, David Cook, Milwaukie, OR and Kathy Cook, Sioux Falls, SD; a niece, Jenny Cook and Great Niece, Mackencie Cook, Sioux Falls, SD; and his best friend and brother-in-law, Clement Thunder Jr., Sioux Falls, SD.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Mark Cook.
