David Wayne Moyer, age 62, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. He was born on January 4, 1962, to Jonathan and Margaret Yvonne Moyer in Tampa, FL.

Throughout his life, David traveled and lived in various places across the United States, eventually settling in Sioux Falls, SD. He believed in hard work and providing for his family, always striving to care for everyone. As a self-employed medical carrier, he dedicated himself to his work. When not working, he enjoyed music, fishing, and, most importantly, spending time with his family.

Grateful to have shared his life are his children, Shawn Moyer, Tara Moyer, Jennifer Cadra, Chelsey Riplese, and Kaylee (Nicholas) Kent; adopted daughter Katelyn (Ryne) Rockwell; best friend Karen Moyer; sisters Robyn, Cathy, and Debbie; grandchildren Matthew, Mickal, Anthony, Zakarey, Jacob, Seth, Tiffany, Eric, Parker, Leah, McKenna, Grayson, and Korra; and many family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
