Duane Hall, 81 of Humboldt, SD, passed away peacefully with family at his side on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the VA Hospice House.

Duane Dewey Hall, son of Dewey and Edrie (Welch) Hall, was born on December 28, 1943, in Luverne, MN. Duane enlisted with the United States Army and served in Vietnam until being honorably discharged.

Duane was united in marriage with Gloria Giessinger on October 8, 1976 in LaHabra, CA. Duane worked in production with Ameren and was living in Humboldt, SD. He enjoyed working on and restoring old cars and spent many hours fishing.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife Gloria; children Roxanne (Kevin) Kohlmeyer, Marchelle (Shannon) Spah, Kristin (Kevin) Richardson, Matt Hall, Michael Hall; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren with one on the way; siblings Bill (Janie Hall) AR, Karen (Gary) Palmer, AZ; and many other relatives and friends.

Duane was preceded in death by Dean Lindell; three brothers; and 5 sisters.

The family will be having private services with burial at the South Dakota Veteran's Cemetery.
