Edna R. "Sookie" Erickson of Brandon, SD, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, following a car accident. She was 78.

Edna "Sookie" was born on October 13, 1946, in Sioux Falls, SD, and spent the majority of her life in the region. Most recently, she resided in Brandon, SD, a community she was incredibly thankful for, surrounded by wonderful, caring, and supportive friends.  She and her family deeply appreciate all those who have touched her life.

She is survived by her son Jason and his wife, Angie, both of Renner, SD; three grandchildren, Berklee, Jack, and Ben, who were the lights of her life and whom she "loved to the moon and back." A wonderful grandmother, she will be deeply missed.

She is also survived by her loving siblings, who will be included in the forthcoming full obituary.
