Eileen (Nutzki) Hochstatter, age 89, passed away October 4th, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Eileen was born June 30th, 1936 in Sandusky, OH, to Edward and Mary (Krescher) Nutzki.  Eileen was clerk of court in Sandusky for many years before she met her husband Arnold Hochstatter. They were married in Sandusky on August 1st, 1970.

Eileen moved from Sandusky to Arnold's farm in Minneota, MN after their wedding. Eileen often spoke with great appreciation about all the things a "city girl" learned on the farm. In 1976 Eileen and her family moved to Harrisburg, SD.  Here she raised her two children Christine and John.

She enjoyed movies, reading books, as well as traveling abroad (especially to Ireland), a trip which she recounted to her children with fondness many times.

Eileen is survived by her daughter Christine Hochstatter, son John Hochstatter, daughter in law Michelle (Schussler) Hochstatter and sister Mary Jane Nutzki.

Funeral services will be held at St Therese Catholic Church, 901 N Tahoe Trail, Sioux Falls, SD on October 17, 2025 at 10:30 am.
