Elizabeth Cota Kosse, aged 61, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, November 15, 2025.
In St. Joseph, MO, the family will receive friends from 5:00 -7:00 PM on Thursday at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church followed by the Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 pm.

In Sioux Falls, SD, the family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Friday, November 21 at Miller Funeral Home Downtown, 507 Main Ave., Sioux Falls, SD.
Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 am Saturday, November 22, at the Christ the King Catholic Church, 1501 W. 26th St., Sioux Falls, SD, the Inurnment will be at the St. Michaels Cemetery, Sioux Falls SD.
She was born on May 8, 1964, in Sioux Falls, SD, the beloved daughter of the late Elizabeth 'Betty' and Richard 'Dick' Cota. Beth was a proud graduate of O'Gorman Catholic High School and St. Cloud State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science and then pursed her Master's degree in Counseling at South Dakota State University.
On March 11, 1989, Beth married Karl Kosse, who survives her. She dedicated her career to education, serving as a school counselor and substitute teacher, and also was the office manager at Kosse Pediatrics.
Beth was known for her love of golf, her skills as a softball player, her enjoyment of long walks, and her talent in the kitchen. She was a devout member of the Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Richard "Dick" (Denise) Cota Jr., and Dale (Joan) Cota, and her sister in law, Terri (Steve) Cota. Survivors include husband, Dr. Karl Kosse, son Nikolas (Anthony Houchin) Kosse of Kansas City, MO, daughter, Rachel (Nickson Agesa Adamson) Kosse of Los Angeles, CA, and son John (Jennifer Dorris Kosse) Dorris Kosse of Kansas City, MO, mother in law, Betsy Kosse of Aberdeen, SD, five brothers Dave (Judy) Cota of McKinney, TX, Dan (Ronda) Cota of Dacula, GA, Steve (Terri) Cota of Sioux Falls, SD, Mike (Deb) Cota of Sioux Falls, SD, John (Lynn) Cota of Minneapolis, MN, and sisters in law, Denise (Dick) Cota, and Joan (Dale) Cota as well as many dear nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
