Elizabeth Hooker, a kind, caring, and amazing individual, passed away peacefully at the age of 66 in Sioux Falls, SD on August 21, 2026. Elizabeth was born to her loving parents on February 4, 1960, in Fort Worth, TX.

Elizabeth was a woman of immense strength and grace, her life defined by the love she had for her family and her unwavering kindness. She was a beacon of love and support, always there with a comforting word or a warm embrace. Elizabeth had a unique ability to touch the lives of everyone around her, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. 

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as playing Happy Acres on Facebook and spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. Her laughter was infectious, and her spirit was undeniably radiant.  She was not just a mother, but also a friend, confidante, and guide to many. 

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her mother, Lila Mae Cummins, her daughter Brendajo Hooker, son Vincent Cummins, grandchildren KaVantre Ray James Hooker and Kazerra Devine Grant, ex-husband Jack Hooker, and son-in-law Lazerick Grant. 

She is survived by her daughters Autumn Hooker, Sunshine Krebs, and Samantha Hooker, and her grandchildren JaylaJo, JyMarion, KaVarion, Jayden, Blake, Lazerick, and Kazeal. She also leaves behind her special daughters Fee, Alicia, Anell, Nicole, and Nikki, and her special sons Joshua and Souky and all their children, and grandchildren, along with a host of friends and family who will miss her dearly. 

Elizabeth's life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of family. She taught us all to live with compassion, to lend a helping hand whenever we can, and to cherish the moments we have with our loved ones. 

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love, support, and condolences during this difficult time. A celebration of life on September 12 at 4 pm at Sertoma Park. There will be food and refreshments. Balloon release at 6 pm.

In remembrance of Elizabeth, let us all strive to live by her example - to be kind, caring, and to value the importance of family. Her legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. We will always love and miss you, Elizabeth.
