Enid M. Damon of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, peacefully passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at her home in the Good Samaritan Society Center in Sioux Falls. She was 96 years old.

Born on March 7, 1929, to Nels and Esther (Anderson) Anderson in Sioux Falls, Enid attended public school and graduated from Garretson High School in 1948. She then pursued further education by earning an associate's degree in Business from Minneapolis Business College in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

In 1951, Enid married Robert Damon in Sioux Falls. The couple lived in Sioux Falls until Robert's passing in 1975.

Enid worked in customer service at Raven Industries in Sioux Falls. After 19 years with the company, she retired in 1996.

In her free time, Enid enjoyed knitting and various other crafts. She loved collecting antiques and enjoyed making button bracelets.

She is survived by her dear friends, Joanne (David) Morton of Brandon, South Dakota, Kim Hastings of Sioux Falls, Jana Keller and Lennon Keller both of Sioux Falls, and Marvin (Debbie) Lovro of Sioux Falls, as well as a distant cousin, Diane Grev of Minneapolis, MN.

Enid was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, her brother Wilfred Anderson, and two nephews, Peter and Mortin Anderson.

Enid will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Robert Damon, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
