George "Dino" Kiggins Jr., 55, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026, unexpectedly in the comfort of his own home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Miller Funeral Home - Downtown Chapel, with visitation from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

Dino was born on September 19, 1970, at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, to George & Beverly Kiggins and was later adopted by Gib and Donna (Lucht) Kiggins. He attended schools in Poplar, WI, and Superior, WI, and then in 1988, he graduated from Denfeld High School located in Duluth, MN. In 1990, he met the love of his life, Traci Edquist. On June 5, 1992, they were united in marriage in Superior, WI, to spend nearly 34 loving years together. They fell in love in Superior but moved to Sioux Falls to be reunited with his biological father, his partner Ewla Heater, and his siblings. Dino and Traci soon became homeowners of their only home of 28 years, in which they raised 4 beautiful children.

After working for John Morrells, later called Smithfield, for nearly 34 years, Dino retired on September 26th, 2025, due to health issues.

Dino was quite the homebody. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his beautiful wife and kids. In 2021, Dino and Traci ventured on a trip to Las Vegas, which he enjoyed. Every summer, Dino enjoyed their family vacation to Wisconsin Dells for a week of fun in the sun with friends and family for nearly 25 years. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Penguins fan. He enjoyed watching his favorite NASCAR driver, Joey Logano, every Sunday. You could always find Dino at his kids' sporting events, in the stands cheering them on.

Like his father and siblings, Dino lived up to the motto of "Built FORD Tough"!

Grateful for having shared his life are his amazing family, wife, Traci; daughters, Krystal and Bonnie (Sioux Falls); sons, Troy (Rapid City) and Tony (Sioux Falls); grandkids, Remington and Wesson (Sioux Falls); brothers, Jerry (Kelly), Jesse (Chantel), Jesse (Jayden), and Gary (Amanda), all of Sioux Falls; sisters, Angie (Cody), Jean (Byron), and Denise, all of Sioux Falls, and Michelle (Kevin) of Proctor, MN; sisters-in-law, Danette Krosko and Kristi (Mark), both of Superior, WI, and Mandi (Carlos) of Sioux Falls; along with many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews too.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Walt, Fern, and Viola; sisters, Valerie, Renee, and Terri; nieces, Jade and Mercedes; nephews, Kasean and Devin; and parents-in-law, Richard and Kathleen of Superior.
