Glenda Jean "G.J." Lubovich, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. Glenda was 91 years old.

Glenda Jean Lunde, daughter of Emil and Alvina (Raihl) Lunde, was born on September 14, 1933, in Brainerd, Minnesota. She attended public school and graduated from Brainerd High School in 1951.

On November 4, 1951, Glenda married her high school sweetheart, Daniel "Danny" Lubovich, in Webster, South Dakota. The couple had three sons: Dan, Kevin, and Joel. Sadly, Danny passed away in 1978.

Family meant everything to Glenda. She kept pretty busy raising her three boys. Following her late husband's death, Glenda worked for John Morrells Company as the Manager of the Smoke Department. Glenda cherished her time spent with her children, especially her grandchildren.

Faith and family meant everything to Glenda. Those who knew Glenda best would recall her contagious laugh and outgoing personality. She always liked looking at the bright side of life, and even in her older days, when she was not feeling well, she maintained a steady smile and a hearty welcome to those coming to visit. Glenda had an unwavering love for her Lord Jesus Christ. She understood that despite trials in her life, she hoped for an eternity with Jesus and the peace that only Jesus could offer! Glenda will be deeply missed.

Grateful for having shared her life are her sons, Danny (Debbie) Lubovich of Mexico, Kevin Lubovich of Tempe, AZ, and Joel Lubovich of Sioux Falls, SD; her granddaughter, Kierra; and brothers, Jack Lunde and James Lunde, both of Washington State.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dan, and an infant son.

Inurnment will be held at noon on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
