Heath Jerith Larson "Mo" of Lennox, SD passed away peacefully in hospice care on December 12th, 2025.

A celebration of life will take place at the Tea American Legion on Saturday, January 10th from 2:00 pm- 5:00 pm.

Mo was born on April 8th, 1967 in Sioux City, IA to Celia Larson. Mo was raised by his grandparents, Palmer and Emma Larson, in Sioux falls, SD for many years of his childhood before moving to Worthing, SD with his mother, stepfather and four half-siblings. Mo lived a unique and challenging childhood.

Mo graduated from Lennox Highschool in 1985. Mo was known by many people and had many friends because of his vibrant, social energy and his playful mischievous attitude.

Mo remained in the Lennox area after high school and enjoyed his muscle cars and his 1985 Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Mo also enjoyed watching and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Mo later met Linda Finke and united in marriage in 1988. Shortly after marriage they welcomed their two children Jordan Thorsby (daughter) and Tyler Larson (son) into the world. Mo was determined to raise his children in a loving, caring and happy environment. Mo enjoyed taking his children camping, fishing, to an NFL game and many NASCAR races. The marriage between Mo and Linda was later dissolved after 20+ years.

Mo worked a variety of jobs through his working career. Many of those years were working at Hutchinson. Farner-Bocken, was the last job Mo was able to work before becoming too ill.

Mo became ill in his mid-thirties. He spent many years traveling to different states and doctors to try to uncover his illness and pain, but no diagnosis was ever made. Mo spent many years in pain, but fought hard to be here for his children and grandchildren.

Later in life, Mo, found his biological dad, Jerry Myers and four half-siblings. Meeting and making these relationships with his family brought Mo great joy.

Mo leaves behind his children: Jordan (Marin) Thorsby and Tyler (Candace) Larson, his grandchildren: Elijah, Grayson, Emersyn, Declan, Zoey and Wrenley, his longtime friend & roommate: Eric Keppen, his mother and stepfathers: Celia (Tom) Doolittle and Dick Davies, his half-siblings: Jesse, Sherry, Boone, Nicole, Cristey, Darby, Lisa and Clint and many nephews and nieces.

Mo is proceeded in death by his granddaughter: Adelyn Thorsby, his father: Jerry Myers, his grandparents: Palmer and Emma Larson and his half-sister: Stacy Myers.
