Jack William Scott Jr. passed away on September 4, 2025 at Sanford hospital in Sioux Falls, SD with his family by his side.  He was 81.

Jack William Scott Jr was born April 25, 1944, in Alamogordo, NM. to Jack William Scott Sr and Betty Weaver Scott. He graduated from Alamogordo High School in 1962.  He joined the Navy and served on the USS Forrestal CV-59 from 1963 to 1968. After discharge from the Navy he worked at the White Sands Missile Range. Then worked at the EROS Data Center for 47 years until retiring. In retirement he worked part-time at Dakota Auto Parts.

Jack loved to bowl and he coached the O'Gorman girls bowling team. Jack enjoyed being with people and could make you smile. He collected End of Trails, Johnny Lightening cars, Route 66 memorabilia, belt buckles and knives.

Jack is survived by his wife Bonnie of 53 years: son, William (fiancé Alexxus Kick) Dell Rapids, SD; five grandchildren Phoenix, Simon, Cassandra, William Jr and Ravyn.

There will be a celebration of life scheduled for a later date.
