Jeffrey D. Hagberg, 59, of Sioux Falls passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Dougherty Hospice after a courageous battle with Diabetes which caused a stroke.

Memorial Service will be 2:00 pm Friday, May 23 at Miller Funeral Home Westside Chapel, 6200 W. 41st Street, Sioux Falls, SD with the family present one hour prior to the service.

Jeffrey Duane Hagberg, son of Duane and Marilyn (Renken) Hagberg, was born July 21, 1965 in Sioux Falls, SD.  He grew up in Sioux Falls where he graduated from Washington High School in 1984.

Jeff began driving semi-truck over-the-road for various companies.  He loved to travel and drove most all the lower 48 states.  Later in his career he developed Diabetes and could not drive truck. He joined his dad, Duane to help in Ethanol parts sales for a number of years.

He was quite mechanical and knew many specifics and specs about vehicles.  He would advise his family and friends what to look for in vehicle purchases.

Jeff enjoyed fishing and most of all riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.  He was known as "BooBoo" to his riding friends.  Jeff attended the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally for 26 years, and did not miss a year.  He was a great storyteller and loved to tell jokes.

Grateful for having shared his life are his parents, Duane and Marilyn Hagberg of Sioux Falls; his brothers, Christopher (Jean) Hagberg and their daughter, Brooke, of Sioux Falls, Michael Hagberg and his sons, Zachary (Heather) of Sioux Falls, and Dustin (Ashley) of Baltic, SD.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Elsie Hagberg; and John and Jennie Renken.
