Obituary

Jordan Morris Anfinson, 24, beloved father, son, nephew, grandson, and friend, was called home on March 22nd, 2025. A Celebration of Life visitation will be held from 3:00 - 6:00 PM, Friday, March 28, 2025, at Miller Funeral Home - Southside Chapel, with a Prayer Service at 5:30 PM.

Jordan was born on February 15th, 2001, to Becky Boyd and Henry Anfinson at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Jordan spent much of his childhood in Cherokee, Iowa, where he attended Washington High School and enjoyed playing sports and riding his dirt bikes around the yard.

Jordan was a free spirit from a young age, with an infectious laugh and the biggest smile. He was a gearhead and talented at tinkering with anything with an engine, especially dirt bikes and four-wheelers. He spent countless hours fixing up and riding four-wheelers, hunting, and making many cherished memories with his beloved grandfather, Rick Anfinson, who was like a father to Jordan.

In 2024, Jordan became a father himself and welcomed two sons, Kash and Herman. He was so excited to be a father and was very proud of his boys. He loved spending time with his family and cared deeply about their happiness, going out of his way to make everyone laugh and to talk excitedly about whatever you had going on in your life. He was known for his silly personality, for making friends wherever he went, and for giving the best-ever hugs, which will be so missed.

Jordan is remembered with love and survived by his sons, Kash and Herman; his mother, Becky Boyd; his sister, Ariona Collins; and his brother, Jaden Anfinson; his grandparents, Lenny (Penny) Boyd, Troy Oberembt, Rick (Sandy) Anfinson, and Tracy McGee; his great-grandmother, Rose Oberembt; and many great aunts, great uncles, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

Jordan was preceded in death by his father, Henry Ricky Anfinson; his grandmother, Debra Rae Boyd-Oberembt; his great-grandmothers, Marie Boyd and Florence Anfinson; his great-grandfather, Bob Oberembt; and his great-great-grandmother, Eileen Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests you share your memories of Jordan by mail and in person. Memorials may be sent to:
