June Haley, Sioux Falls, SD, died at Good Samaritan Center in Sioux Falls, SD, on October 15, 2021. She was 74.

June Irene Haley was born June 6, 1947, to Eugene and Ruby (Swenson) Haley, in Pipestone, MN. She moved to Sioux Falls with her family while she was a freshman in high school. June graduated from O'Gorman High School in the mid 1960s.

She worked at Sunshine Foods as a waitress at the food counter, and also worked at various hotels. June then became a homemaker after being disabled.

June loved watching movies and television, and was a big fan of Magnum P.I. She also enjoyed listening to country music. Talented at cooking and baking, June loved to bake rhubarb pies, pumpkin cookies and carrot cake.

Even in the midst of her deepest struggles, June remained upbeat and positive. Forgiving and non-judgmental, she was always quick to say a good word about people. Her sweet spirit will be forever treasured by those who loved her.

Grateful for having shared her life are her son, David Haley; sisters, Dorothy and Patricia; and her brother,. Mike. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Marian, Rose, Lois, Raymond, and Patrick.

Memorial services will be held 2:00pm Monday, October 25, 2021, at Miller Funeral Home, 507 S. Main Avenue in Sioux Falls.
