Lance Allen Long, 35, passed away in Sioux Falls, SD on February 7, 2026.

Lance was born to Steven and Amber Long (Waagmeester) of Sioux Falls at Sioux Valley Hospital (Sanford).

He attended Laura Wilder grade school, Edison Middle School, graduating from Roosevelt High school in 2008.

Lance was a hardworking, exceptional chef. He was generous and kind to all he knew. Lance's real passion was for fast cars and ATV riding. Lance also had a zeal for science and space. Always trying to learn more.

Lance is survived by his parents, Steven and Amber, his older sister, Lacey, his nephew Leo and many cousins
