It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the peaceful passing of Linda L. Davis, of Sioux Falls, SD, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Dougherty Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. Linda was 78 years old, and her vibrant spirit and warmth will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held 4:00pm Friday, May 8, 2026 at Falls Church, located at 2701 S Minnesota Ave., Sioux Falls, SD.

Linda Louise Jarrott was born on January 23, 1948, in Canby, Minnesota, to loving parents, Clayton and Alberta (Feldkamp) Jarrott. Her family later moved to Sioux Falls, where she was raised and created countless cherished memories. After graduating from Washington High School, Linda dedicated herself to a life filled with love and devotion to her family.

Her greatest joys in life came from her love of Jesus, her beloved family, and the nurturing of her five beautiful children. As a devoted homemaker, Linda poured her heart into raising her children, always enveloping them in kindness and laughter. Her commitment to her faith was evident through her active involvement in Sunday School and her passion for singing in the church choir.

In a celebration of love, Linda married Tyrice Davis on April 23, 2004, in Sioux Falls. Their bond was a testament to the beauty of family and togetherness, and they cherished their blended family wholeheartedly.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Linda often spoke of her quick wit and delightful sense of humor. She was not only an exceptional cook and baker but also a gifted poet, using her words to express the depth of her heart.

Linda leaves behind her loving husband, Tyrice Davis of Sioux Falls; her devoted children, Michelle (Rick) Boyer of Sioux Falls, Angela (Philip) McCormick of Salem, SD, Heather (Joseph) Poppenga of Sioux Falls, Mindy (Julian) Johnson of Morgantown, WV, and Jerod (Danielle) Lammi of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by 11 adoring grandchildren, Tim (Samantha), Kirk, Alaina (Josh), Andrew, Alexis (Tanner), Isaac (Kayle), Clayton, Jaela, Weslee, Jocelyn, and Levi; 8 great-grandchildren; her cherished brothers, Harold (Sandra) Jarrott of Parker, SD, and Jeffrey (Lydia) Jarrott of Dallas, TX; her sister-in-law, Audree Jarrott of Sioux Falls; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Linda is lovingly preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Alberta Jarrott, and her brothers, Clayton, Jon, and Timothy. Her legacy of love, faith, and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
