Linda was born on November22, 1948 in Sioux Falls, SD to Charles Clark and Hester (Cutler) Clark.
Linda graduated Lincoln High School, class of 1967 and also attended South Dakota State University for a year.
Linda married her high school sweet heart, Dave Stadheim, on June 8, 1968 at the First Methodist Church in Sioux Falls. The couple moved to Dallas, TX where they were blessed with the birth of their first son, Scott David.
In 1971, while in Brookings, Dave's cousin led both Linda and Dave to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. The couple moved to Sioux Falls where they welcomed the birth of their second son, Andrew David and their last son, Clark David.
Linda was a dedicated homemaker raising her boys and taking a great deal of pride in the house she kept. Over the years Dave and Linda would build 3 of their homes and Linda always helped with the work regardless of the heat and dirt.
Linda was always interested in fitness and, like her mother enjoyed swimming laps. Over the years she would log 3,000 miles at the YWCA and then another 4,000 miles at the Sioux Valley Wellness Center. While at the Wellness Center Linda taught aerobics classes and eventually became the Aerobics Supervisor. Even after retiring, Linda still worked out 3-4 days a week until her death.
Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren and attended as many of their events as she could. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, reading, playing Mahjong and golf with friends. Linda and Dave in retirement became snowbirds in AZ where they found many new dear friends and have recorded many happy memories.
Because of Christs death on the cross and resurrection, we are confident that Linda is with Jesus and Andrew right now and He is saying to her, "Well done good and faithful servant!". Here, Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew her as Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her older sister Patricia and her son Andrew. Linda is survived by her husband, Dave; Sons - Scott (Laurie) their children Ethan and Callie – Sioux Falls, SD; Andrews wife Brenda and their children Isabella and Derek – Woodbury, MN; Clark (Tara) their children Olivia, Emma, Macy and Asher – Sioux Falls, SD; Sister - Barb (Don) Welter – Collierville, TN; Sister – Alice Woodson – San Antonio, TX; And a great many special nieces, nephews and friends.
