Lucille Arlene Foster, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born on August 22, 1934, to Frank and Ada (Black) Van Diepen.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 2 PM at Miller Funeral Home Downtown Chapel with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Lucille grew up in Sioux Falls and married Howard Foster on September 25, 1954. She enjoyed drawing, playing bingo, and attending dog and car races.

She is survived by her daughters, Dawn (Dave) Entenman and Donna (Eric) Murphy, sisters Phyllis Hanisch and Shirley (Don) Steineke, niece Lori Hanisch, numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Howard; sons, Howard and Jay, and infant son Joseph; brother, Eugene VanDiepen; and sister, Rosie Holbrook.
