With heavy hearts, we share that our precious baby boy, Maze Oliver Prater, was called home to be with the Lord in May 2026. Though our time together was brief, this sweet life was deeply loved, carefully created, and known by God from the very beginning.

Maze was the cherished son of Dallas and Samantha Prater, and the beloved little brother of Mya Prater. Even in such a short time, he brought immense love, hope, and joy into our lives—reminding us that every life, no matter how small, has eternal meaning and purpose.

We take comfort in the promise that our baby is now held in the arms of Jesus, surrounded by perfect peace and love. While we long to hold our child here on earth, we trust in God's plan and find hope in knowing we will one day be reunited.

Maze is lovingly remembered by his parents, Dallas and Samantha Prater; his sister, Mya Prater; his maternal grandparents, Joyce and Daniel Piehl; his paternal grandparents, Deana and Steve Prater; his maternal uncles, Heath Koth, Michael Koth, and Majok Kur; and his paternal uncle, Jason Prater.

Though we never held you in our arms, Maze, we will hold you in our hearts forever. You are loved beyond measure and will never be forgotten.
