Mildred “Millie” Moser, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Visitation with the family present will be 2 to 4 pm on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Miller Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, 507 South Main Avenue. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, August 17, 2026, at the Downtown Chapel with private interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mildred Ann Frederickson, daughter of George and Luella (Feuerhelm) Frederickson, was born on June 10, 1934, on a farm in Minnehaha County, SD. She lived on the farm until her parents moved to Sioux Falls when she was eleven. After graduation from Washinton High School she attended Augustana College where she met the love of her life, Eugene “Gene” Moser, and was married on May 5, 1956, in Sioux Falls, SD. Before her children were born she worked for the VFW Veteran Service Office at the VA.

Lake Madison was always a special place to her and her family, so in 1994 they made it their permanent residence. She was the treasurer of the Lake Madison Development Association for 13 years.

She loved watching her sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren play different sports. She enjoyed golf, bowling, bridge, Mahjong, and lots of other activities with her family and many friends.

She is survived by her sons, Stu Moser of Sioux Falls, SD, and Doug (Sheri) Moser, Crofton, Ne; two granddaughters, Lynzee (Jesse) Davey, Crooks, SD and Samantha (Matt) Poss, Sioux Falls, SD; three step grandchildren Ashley (Derrick) Leise, Hartington, NE, Alex (Carrie) Wiebold, Lincoln, NE, Adam (Sarah) Wiebold, Lincoln, NE; 13 great grandchildren, Izzy, Kadence, Baylee, Max, Parker, Keegan, Shae, Emma, Ada, Lucy, Ava, Henry, and Hallie; and many relatives and friends.

Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; her parents George and Luella; and her daughter in law, Kim.
