Natasha Ane Jones, was born April 30, 1986 in Rapid City, SD to Christian Andrew Jones and Darla Jean Seiders. She attended Fern Creek Traditional High School in Louisville, KY. She also attended Sullivan University and obtained an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts. Natasha pursued her passion for Baking at Ghylain Chocolatier, where she refined her talent and gained a wealth of knowledge. She worked in the culinary field for many years in positions that took her from fine dining to casual, and everything in between. She moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota to be closer to her family following the birth of her niece, Khaya, in 2017. Eventually this lead her to a position at the Phillips Ave Diner where she worked for over six years.
"She had the best hugs!" is a phrase that is often echoed by her loved ones. Her love for comfort food extended to friends and family alike. She always made birthday cakes for people to celebrate with her friends and family. She was an avid music fan. A day dreamer and a hard worker. Often she would find solace in a walk in nature with a friend or her partner, Paye Mialor.
She is remembered and survived by mother, Darla Seiders; father and step-mother, Christian and Trudy Jones; grandparents, Craig and Faye Seiders; sisters, Kamisha Jones, and Jayme Slow; brothers, John Law, Dexter Jones, and Kobe Simmons; eight nieces and nephews; and several cousins, aunts, and uncles. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Elbert and Anita Jones, Clarence and Marleen Tatum, Claude and Gloria Gray; uncle, Tommy Honore Hojneg; aunts, Belinda Jones, and Kelly Seiders; cousins, Sakina Schofield; and her nephews, Vincent and Angel Vasquez-Jones.
