Norma Carolyn Weelborg

Norma Carolyn Weelborg passed away on the evening of September 6, 2026, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was 92 years old. Norma resided at Bethany Care Home in Brandon, South Dakota, for the last three years.

Norma was born on October 3, 1933, to Edgar and Edith Ortberg. She met, married, and had three children with Lowell Robert Weelborg (deceased 2016) in the Watertown, SD area. They were married for 65 years. Together, Norma and Lowell owned and successfully operated Chatfield Farm Service in Chatfield, Minnesota, for over 20 years. She was their bookkeeper until they retired and moved to Florida in 1987.

She is survived by her three children: Angela “Jill” Paulsen, Carol Y Sasich, and Robert Lowell Weelborg - all of Sioux Falls; five grandchildren; and several nieces.

Norma loved her small dogs Buffy, Sable, and Munchkin, to name a few.

Private services will be held by the family.
