Obituary

Norm Hurley, Lifetime resident of Sioux Falls and longtime owner of Print Right Printing, died June 22nd, 2025 at Ava's House surrounded by his loving family. He recently celebrated his 70th birthday.

Celebration of Life Service will be 7:00 pm Thursday, June 26, with the family present to greet friends from 4:00 -7:00 pm at Miller Funeral Home Westside Chapel, 6200 W. 41st Street, Sioux Falls, SD.

Norm was born April 15th, 1955 in Sioux Falls to Harold and Grayce (Bennett) Hurley. He graduated from Washington High School in 1973. Following high school he worked for The Printing Center before opening his own printing company, Print Right Printing and retiring at an early age.

On February 18th 1978, he was united in marriage to Brenda Boelman. They spent their life in Sioux Falls and became the loving parents to two girls.

Norm lived life with his whole heart, full throttle and wide open. He deeply loved his family, especially his wife, daughters and grandkids, who were truly his entire world. Norm packed his days with adventure, and joy. Whether he was hunting, fishing, cooking up something delicious, gardening, riding his motorcycle, canning, scuba diving, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, boating, camping or building something new. Norm was always on the move and loving every minute of it.

He had a big personality and an even bigger heart. He was the best B.S.-er around, and if you ever met him, you never forgot him. His heart was as big as his stories (and trust us, both were huge). Norm gave the best advice (solicited or not) and was always the first to jump in and help with anything. He was the life of the party. He loved life loud, lived it full-speed, and made sure everyone around him was having a good time too. His greatest joy was his family. His wife, daughters, and grandkids were not just part of his life-they were his life.

He lived loud, loved big and left a mark that won't be forgotten.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Brenda, daughters, Jenny Hurley, Kari (Jake) Steenholdt, Grandchildren-Elizabeth (Eli) Walberg, Kelsey Hybertson, Jaden Jones and Landon Steenholdt. Plus many many great friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Judi Jaqua, father in law Edwin Boelman and brother in law Bryan Boelman.
