Pascal Niyonkuru, of Sioux Falls, passed away Saturday, May 8th, 2021. Pascal was 20.

Funeral service will be held 10:30 am Saturday, May 22nd, 2021 at Miller Funeral Home - downtown. Visitation will be held 10:00 am until 7:00 pm on Friday, May 21st, 2021 also at Miller Funeral Home - downtown, 507 South Main Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD. Interment to follow the funeral service on Saturday, May 22nd, 2021 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Sioux Falls, SD.

Pascal Niyonkuru, a Native Burundian, was born on January 1st, 2001 to Ayubu Kayumba and Beulina Ncori in Tanzania. When pascal was 6 years old, his family moved to the United States and resided in New York state.

In 2020, Pascal moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and he attended Washington High School. Pascal would have graduated from Washington High in May of 2021.

In his spare time, he enjoyed his work at Buffalo Wild Wing as a server. Pascal loved playing video games and spending time with his friends. Pascal also enjoyed playing sports and was a talented basketball player.

Grateful for having shared his life are his parents, Ayuba Kayumba and Beulina Ncori of New York; sisters, Rose (Alex Ntaki) Niyosaba, and Penina Niyukuri; brothers, Samweli Ndikubagabo, Yeremia Ndayizeye, Ibrahim Niyogusenga and Fulgence Nsengiyumva.
