Paul David Lee, age 71, passed away on Thursday, March 13th, 2025, at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD, surrounded by family. He was born on January 29, 1954, to Warren and Rosella (Petersen) Lee in Brookings, SD.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sioux Falls Church of Christ. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM, also at the Sioux Falls Church of Christ. The interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Aurora, SD.

Paul graduated from Brookings High School in the class of 1972, where he met a woman he completely adored, Vicki Wheeler. He married the love of his life, Vicki, on February 18th, 1972, at the Church of Christ in Brookings, SD.  After high school, he started working at the stockyards and then became a maintenance supervisor at Building Products Inc. (formerly Jordan Millwork and Jeld-Wen) in Sioux Falls, where he worked for over 30 years before retiring in 2020.

Paul and Vicki were blessed with three daughters: Joy, Jessica, and Ann. Recently, they celebrated 53 years of marriage, living inseparably together. Tragically, they passed away just three days apart.

Paul had a special love for the Lincoln Marching Band, the Kansas City Royals, and the Chiefs. He enjoyed trains, working on cars, and assembling kinetic toys. He also loved softball and coached in the Sioux Falls area, even coaching his daughters while they were growing up. Family was everything to him, and being "Papa" was the most rewarding experience in the world for him and his wife as "Nana".

Grateful to have shared his life are his daughters, Joy (Richard) Neal, Jessica Pfau, and Ann (Terry) McPhink; siblings, Bruce (Faye) Lee and Judy (Brian) Carlson; grandchildren, Jacob (Hanna) Neal, Elizabeth Lee, Abigail McPhink, Tessa McPhink, and Samuel Shaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Vicki Sue Lee (3 days after); son, David Paul Lee; brothers, Keith Lee and Mark Lee.
