Raymond Jeunesse, age 73, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024, in Sioux Falls, SD. He was born on May 9, 1951, to May Chase Almond and Vernon Jeunesse in Chamberlain, South Dakota.

Raymond graduated from Washington High School. He served as a Deputy Sheriff in Sioux Falls for many years. He was an avid baseball and football fan, particularly the Vikings. Known for his ever-present smile, he brought laughter to everyone and embraced life to the fullest. Additionally, he had a great love for animals.

His sister, Carole Almond; nephews Lorenzo Jeunesse and Gordan Jeunesse; niece, Yvonne Butler; and many family and friends are grateful to have shared his life.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jada Jeunesse; parents May Chase Almond and Vernon Jeunesse; siblings, Lewis Chase, Neil Chase Sr., Darrell Almond, Yvonne Jeunesse, and Marcella Chase; niece, Yvette Butler.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Calvary Episcopal Cathedral.
