Reverend Donald H. Mohr, of Tea, SD passed away October 27, 2025 at the age of 79. He was born on August 20, 1946 to Randolph and Helen Mohr, and raised in St. Louis, MO. He attended Lutheran schools and graduated from Concordia Lutheran Seminary in St. Louis in 1972. He served congregations in Iowa, North Dakota, Montana, and South Dakota for 40 years.

In 1968 he married Evelyn Schmitt (deceased). Three daughters were born to their union. He married Anita (Stellwag/Maxwell) in 1988.

He enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting, camping, boating, playing and singing with his guitar, woodworking, his Harley motorcycle, and in later years his side-by-side with his buddy, granddog Maverick.

He is survived by his wife Anita of 37 years, his daughters Janelle (Jason) McGraw, Kathy (Chad) Henke, and Dana (Scott) Winchell, his stepchildren Jeffrey (Shawn) Maxwell, Jonathan (Kelli) Maxwell, and Jenna Maxwell (Alan Fischer). He enjoyed his grandchildren Derek Mohr, Donovan McGraw, Aubrey, Kaleb, and Bryce Henke, and Kyle and Luke Winchell; and his two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday November 3, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Tea, SD, with burial at the Tea Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday November 2 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with a prayer service at 6:45 pm at Trinity Lutheran. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran or charity of your choice.
