Robert "Bob" Schmuhl, age 43, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025, in Sioux Falls, SD. He was born to Robert and Kelly (Eddie) Schmuhl in Chicago, IL, on August 13, 1981.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 1-3 PM at Wilbert Event Center, 931 25th Ave, Brookings, SD 57006.

Bob graduated from Lincoln High School in Ivanhoe, Minnesota, in 1999. After high school, he started his career in the construction and home remodeling business. Bob was outgoing and could strike up conversations, making new friends wherever he went.

He had many hobbies, including collecting magic cards, drawing, fishing (or at least attempting to catch fish), camping, and kayaking. Bob loved playing tag with the kids in the neighborhood; if it was an outdoor activity, you could always count on him to join in. He also enjoyed doing fireworks with his son, Jaxson, and daughter, Caidynce, and watching Marvel movies.

Grateful to have shared his life are his children, Caidynce Schmuhl and Jaxson Schulze; his mother, Kelly Schmuhl; his siblings, family, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Schmuhl.
