Ron Nicolai passed away on Saturday, August 30th, 2025. The family will be having a private Celebration of Life in his honor at The VFW in Richfield, MN, and a small ceremony at the VA cemetery in Sioux Falls, SD.

Ronald Walter Nicolai was born on March 8th, 1951, in Montevideo, MN, to Walter Nicolai and Cora (Eide) Nicolai. He graduated from South High School, Minneapolis, MN, in 1969. He served in the Air Force from 1970-1973. Ron lived a life full of laughter, kindness, and love. He was always the number one jokester in the family and the master of corny one-liners.

He is survived by daughters, Stacy Nicolai (Sioux Falls, SD) and Andrea Nicolai (Richfield, MN); grandchildren, Kayla, Kamairis, Rico, Valencia, Sienna, Angelanna, and Natali; and great-grandchildren, Braxten, Haislee, Jiovanni, Juelz, Xavian, Tamia, Tiana, Xaylen, Zay'lani, and Raiden.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Nicolai and Cora (Eide) Nicolai, and brother, William Nicolai.
