Ronald Dean Schultz, 80, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Juniper Village in Aurora, Colorado. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 17, 2026, at St. Thomas More Catholic Cemetery in Brookings, South Dakota.

Ronald Dean Schultz was born April 17th, 1946 in Morton, MN. He graduated with a degree in Chemistry from South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD. He met and wed Kathryn Ann Brotsky after graduating from SDSU. He had a successful career as a Chemist at EROS Data Center. Ron enjoyed playing softball and volleyball. He always liked reading and watching Science Fiction or working on his computer. He was preceded in death by his wife. Grateful for having shared his life is his only child, Elena and siblings Carol, Bonnie, Nancy, Sandy, Dennis, David, and Jerry.
