Ryan Joseph Hollingsworth passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026, in Sioux Falls. He was 25. A memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Miller Funeral Home - Westside Chapel (6200 W. 41st St., Sioux Falls).

Ryan was born on December 21, 2000, in Sioux Falls, where he was also raised.

Ryan attended Roosevelt High School and went on to work a variety of jobs over the years. More than anything, he was proud to be a father. He welcomed his son Grayson in July of 2022 and his son Truett in October of 2023. His boys were the center of his world, and he loved spending time with them—especially being outdoors, going fishing, and taking little adventures together.

Ryan will be remembered for his goofy, loud, and kind personality. He had a way of making people laugh and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He had a strong love for the Las Vegas Raiders and the Minnesota Vikings; he never missed a chance to admire a cool car, often snapping pictures whenever one caught his eye.

He is survived by his beloved sons, Grayson and Truett; his brother Damon Whaley of Sioux Falls, SD; his sisters, Brittney (Zac) Heesch of Tyndall, SD, Samantha (Tarris) Whaley of Wahpeton, ND, and Anissa (Lance) Haberman of Barney, ND; his aunt Mary (Jamie) Mussell of Plainview, MN, grandparents Ken and Sharon Chevalier of Plainview, MN; he is also survived by Stacey and Eric Rise, who were like a second set of parents to him; his cousins, Curtis (Ashley) Rise and Maggie Rise, both of Sioux Falls, SD, who were more like siblings; as well as many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Ryan was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hollingsworth; his mother, Michele Chevalier; and his brother, Austin Vosberg.

Ryan's memory will live on in the laughter he shared, the love he gave so freely, and the moments he created with those closest to him—especially his boys, who were his greatest pride and joy.
