Sandra Burr, 80, passed away on October 24, 2025.

Graveside rites will be held at 9:30 am on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Minnehaha County Cemetery, 2020 East 60th Street North, Sioux Falls, SD.

She was born on January 20, 1945, in Camden, New Jersey. Sandra devoted her life to hard work, spending many years as a waitress and later in security, embodying resilience and dedication throughout her career.

Sandra welcomed her first son, Raymond Burr, on February 5, 1968, and at age 45, she gave birth to her only daughter, Jessica Damico, on March 20, 1990. In 1992, Sandra moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she spent 18 years making lasting memories and friendships. In March 2011, she relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, a city she had always loved to visit and finally called home.

Sandra was married twice in her lifetime and outlived both of her husbands. She is survived by her son, Raymond Burr; her daughter, Jessica Damico; her son-in-law, Nicholas Damico; her Granddaughter, Megan Miller; and many long-term friends who became like family over the years.

Sandra's family chooses to remember the better times when she was happy, cherishing the warmth and joy she brought to their lives. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
