Scott Michael Wentzel age 60 of Baltic, SD, passed away in Sioux Falls on Tuesday April 5, 2022. Family will greet friends from 1:00-2:30 PM with a memorial service at 2:30 PM Wednesday April  13, 2022 at Miller Southside Funeral Chapel.

Scott Michael Wentzel, son of Robert and Arlene (Mitchell) Wentzel, was born October 7, 1961 in Sioux Falls. He grew up in Sioux Falls and attended Washington High. He then began working full time with the family detailing service "Joe & Sons".

He was united in marriage Corri Matthews on August 30, 1997 in Sioux Falls. Scott later bought out the family business and operated it for several years. He then worked with Billion Automotive and later the Luxury Auto Mall. Scott was presently working for Sioux Falls Kenworth.

He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson; and while camping, he loved sitting around the waterfall and listening to old country music. Other hobbies included, hanging with his 6 dogs, gardening, and watching football with his two boys.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Corri Wentzel; his sons, Houston and Kyle Wentzel, all of Baltic, SD; his siblings, David (Darlene) Wentzel, Florence, AZ, Leanne (Dan) Andersen, South Sioux City, NE, Charlene (Don) Tiedeman, Kevin (Cindy) Wentzel, and Bruce (Bonnie) Wentzel, all of Sioux Falls, SD; and a host of other relatives and friends.

His parents and brother Craig, preceded him in death.
