Seth "Albert" Allen Rozeboom, a passionate outdoorsman, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025, at the age of 32, surrounded by his family.

Born on June 10, 1993, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Seth was the son of Lowell Rozeboom and Marcia (née Apland) Hoeck. The nickname of "Albert" was bestowed upon Seth by his Grandpa Harvey (a Rozeboom thing!). Seth attended Sioux Falls school and graduated from Washington High School in 2011. He then pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Rangeland Ecology and Management from South Dakota State University.

In recent years, Seth worked as an electrician for Schoenfeldt Electric, a role that allowed him to pursue his favorite activities, including hunting and fishing. He was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to assist family and friends.

Seth found true happiness in the outdoors, enjoying activities such as hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and spending time in the fields searching for deer sheds. He also participated in volleyball and softball, where he formed lasting friendships.

Seth's only child and loyal companion was Bo, his black lab.

Seth's is survived by his mother, Marcia (Tim) Hoeck of Henry, SD; father, Lowell "Rudy" (Karla) Rozeboom of Garretson, SD; and his step-siblings: Jeremy (Katie) Hoeck, Christina (John) Boehnke, Katie (Steve) Abbas, Kim (Jody) Emmert, John (Dezirae) Emmert, and Joseph (Stephanie) Emmert. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Gertrude Rozeboom; uncle, Harlin "Boomer" (Yvonne) Rozeboom; aunts JoLean "Jo" (Gary) Greenhoff, BernDean "Bernie" (Gary) DeRuyter, Barb (John Heinz) Rozeboom, Jolene (Blaine) Smith, and Maryl Wassom; as well as many cousins and friends.

Seth was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Harvey Rozeboom; his maternal grandmother, Frances Svoboda; his maternal grandfather, Larry Apland; and his uncle, Arlin Rozeboom.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life on January 5, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Miller Westside Chapel, located at 6200 W. 41st Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57106. A funeral service will take place on January 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Quarry Rock Church, located at 47381 246th Street, Dell Rapids, SD 57022. Following the service, Seth will be laid to rest at Eastside Cemetery in Steen, Minnesota.

In memory of Seth, the family requests that attendees wear camouflage or hunting attire to both the visitation and the funeral service. Instead of flowers, they ask that memorial donations be made directly to the family.
